About Me

Yuling Guo

Counselor under training | LVSC Coach

I am a counselor currently undertaking a long-term, NFG-accredited training program in the Netherlands and a registered LVSC coach.

I grew up in China and earned my master’s degree in Humanities from Utrecht University. Before entering counseling, I worked in the tech and consulting industries in the Netherlands, gaining cross-cultural and cross-industry experience.

Having studied and worked abroad, I understand the complexity and tension that can arise around identity transitions, cultural adaptation, and self-recognition while living in a different cultural context. These life experiences form an important foundation for how I support clients facing uncertainty, change, and inner conflict.

My counseling approach is primarily existential, informed by psychodynamic thinking, and integrates different methods and tools according to each client’s unique experiences and needs. I pay close attention to emotional processes, relational patterns, and how individuals may gradually lose or reconnect with themselves within relationships.

I provide a safe, open, and confidential space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace and gain greater clarity around life challenges that may feel complex or overwhelming.

In my personal life, I enjoy reading, music, nature, writing, and other creative activities. These experiences continually deepen my understanding of human experience.

I believe that everyone has the potential for self-awareness and growth. Counseling is a process of understanding and integrating the self, a journey toward greater authenticity and inner strength.
