Counselor under training | LVSC Coach (registration pending)

I am a counselor currently undertaking a long-term, NFG-accredited training program in the Netherlands and an LVSC coach (registration pending).

I grew up in China and earned my master’s degree in Humanities at Utrecht University. Before entering the counseling field, I worked in the tech and consulting industries in the Netherlands, gaining cross-cultural and cross-industry experience. I currently reside in Den Bosch, Netherlands.

As a former international student and professional, I understand the challenges of identity transitions, cultural adaptation, and self-recognition while living abroad. These experiences help me support clients as they navigate uncertainty and change.

My counseling approach is primarily psychodynamic and existential, integrating various methods and tools tailored to your unique experiences and needs. I work with you to explore emotions, understand relational patterns, and find meaning and growth.

I provide a safe, open, and confidential space where you can explore and understand yourselves at your own pace. I also offer an objective, professional perspective to help make sense of complex life issues.

In my personal life, I enjoy reading, music, nature, writing, and other creative activities, all of which continually enrich my understanding of human nature.

I believe that everyone has the potential for self-awareness and growth. Counseling is a process of understanding and integrating the self, guiding individuals on a journey toward inner development.
